GUIDE FOR FOUNDERS, INVESTORS AND EVENT ORGANISERS
Most venture-capital conference support is not a travel grant. It usually comes as a discounted founder pass, investor introductions, portfolio support or an event partnership.
Before applying, decide whether you need cash, registration, travel, exhibition space or access to investors. These benefits are not interchangeable.
I would start by following the money. Who pays, what do you receive, and what are you expected to deliver?
What can you actually get?
With event sponsorship, a fund or company supports the organiser in exchange for agreed benefits. Founder programmes can offer investor meetings or reduced ticket prices. Attendance grants cover specified expenses for eligible applicants.
Ask whether an offer covers registration, travel, accommodation or exhibition space. Investor access alone does not promise funding or reimbursement.

1. HumanX VentureConnect: meet investors
7-10 MARCH 2027 | LAS VEGAS, USA
HumanX offers VentureConnect for qualified startups and verified investors, with meetings that both sides agree to. You opt in during event registration, and participation is included with your pass.
Qualified founders can apply for discounted startup passes. I would check investor fit before buying, then prepare a short pitch covering your product, traction and fundraising plans.
2. NVIDIA Inception: startup support and VC access
NVIDIA Inception is free, with no membership fees or equity requirement. Eligible startups can access investor exposure through Inception Capital Connect and curated networking opportunities.
Applicants need an incorporated company, a working website and at least one developer, and must be less than ten years old. I would review the full eligibility rules, because some business types are excluded.
GTC's published 2026 programme included startup and VC pitches. If you are planning for 2027, check the new event-specific benefits before treating membership as a conference ticket or travel award.

3. VC partnerships: work with the organiser
HumanX explicitly invites VC firms and accelerators to partner through founder invitations, network promotion and introductions. Its broader partnership offer includes co-hosted workshops and networking sessions.
I would ask which activities suit your fund, what they cost and how success will be measured. Agree on the audience, benefits and responsibilities before committing.
How I would ask for attendance support
If your goal is help with the bill, contact the organiser and, if you have one, your existing investor's portfolio-support team. Ask about sponsored passes, startup discounts or travel assistance, and whether support is paid upfront or reimbursed.
Send a concise request stating your company stage, why this event fits, who you want to meet and an itemised budget. Offer a concrete follow-up, such as sharing relevant industry insights with your portfolio community.
Check eligibility, deadlines, selection criteria and covered costs before applying. Membership, registration and meeting requests may be separate steps.
Pro tip
If you're unsure about which conference to attend, then fix that as a first step. And my related guide on how to choose an AI conference for 2027 will help you do that.
After you make this choice, then you may approach a potential sponsor. A sponsorship request naming the event, total cost, deadline and expected professional outcome is much easier to evaluate than a generic request for support.
Which route would I choose for you?
If you're an early-stage technical founder, I would assess Inception first. If you have traction and a clear fundraising story, look closely at VentureConnect.
For VC platform teams, I would favour partnerships that create useful introductions for portfolio companies. Ask for evidence of audience fit and a clear plan for measuring results.
If you're an organiser, approach funds whose investment focus matches your audience. Present a specific package with attendee profiles, deliverables and pricing.
